Figueira Beach
Figueira beach is good for diving and water sports. A very pleasant scuba diving trip can be planned, since the clear waters offer the best conditions for water sports lovers. Access by trail makes this an impossible-to-miss opportunity. Access in the first entrance for Tabatinga, approximately 1.5 Km by dirt road, or by the Caçandoca Hill. The same access is used for Ponta Aguda and Lagoa beach. On the road, there is a beautiful panoramic sight of the beaches. The Figueira beach was a private property and is almost deserted with coarse sands and an agitated sea. The Tamanduá Island can be seen from it. Presence of traditional caiçara community. The access is also possible by boat.

Ponta Aguda Beach
Ponta Aguda beach is the best destination for a fishing vacation. Its clear waters please tourists and are good for fishing and water sports. Caiçara Indians are still present in the surroundings. Access in the first entrance for Tabatinga, approximately 1,5 Km by dirt road, or by the Caçandoca Hill. The same access is used for Figueira and Lagoa beaches. In the road we have a privileged panoramic sight of Tabatinga, Tamanduá Island, Ilhabela, Saint Sebastião and Figueira. The coastline forms a sharp angle, which named the beach, and there is a path that leads up to Mansa beach. Presence of traditional caiçara community. Access is possible by boat .

Lagoa Beach
Adventure awaits. Nature lovers can enjoy a wonderful hiking trail. In Lagoa beach, the trip and the destination are part of the fun. A wonderful place to see in Ubatuba is Lagoa Beach. At the extreme south border, it is hard to get there by land, although it is rewarding. You can reach this small paradise by the trail that starts in Cassandoca, Cassandoquinha, Saco das Bananas or from the south through Tabatinga beach. The place holds the ruins of an old slave traders hideout but they are located in a private property, so you must request the owners’ permit to visit them. In its left corner you'll find a pond (Lagoa) with clear and crisp waters, reason for the name of this place.

Brava do Frade Beach
The difficult trail to Brava do Frade Beach is certainly worth it. This beautiful beach offers historical and sport attractions. Surfers and history-lovers will enjoy the day. Access by boat or by path (medium/difficult level), starting from Lagoa or Caçandoca Beach, passing by Saco das Bananas. It is located inside an area recognized as the first Quilombo of the North Coastline, which extends from Lagoa beach up to Pulso Beach. The region is surrounded by historical paths with wild beauty. The beach is isolated by the Atlantic Forest and has a beautiful view of Ilhabela, another beach town. The open sea has good strong waves for surfing.

Caçandoquinha Beach
Another excellent trip for the child and family is Cassandoquinha. The calm and clear water makes swimming with the family a great entertainment. Follow the trail and have fun.

Obligatory passage for those who take the trail from Saco das Bananas (an old community of the original "caissara" natives) and Barra da Lagoa beach, Cassandoquinha beach is the favorite site for ecologic tourism lovers.

From this beach you have a panoramic sight of the beaches of Maranduba, Lagoinha, Bonete, Grande do Bonete, and also the islands of Maranduba, Pontal and Mar Virado. Great place for photos.

When going there, please be so kind and take small garbage bags with you to collect and take away your leftovers and keep the place in its almost savage and pristine state.

Caçandoca Beach
Walking the trail to Cassandoca Beach, a new scenery can be enjoyed. Rural areas and coastlines mingle and form this unique place. Its diversity attracts visitors with different views and profiles.

A former colonial farm which lived on livestock, nowadays it is one of the town’s most visited sites.

An old cattle ranch.

Those who seek a secluded and peaceful beach with an astonishing view of the Baía do Mar Virado inlet, should visit the Cassandoca beach.

At the extreme south border of the county of Ubatuba, this beach is part of an old farm whose main resources were fishing and farming.

Even today cattle and goats roam the shoreline giving the place a pitoresque flair. Right at its side, the Cassandoquinha beach, a smaller strip well sought after by divers and anglers, the starting point of the trail to the Barra da Lagoa beach.

Pulso Beach
Clear conditions and easy access to one of the best places for fishing and water sports. Jet ski rental is an option for the daredevils. Have fun enjoying what nature has to offer.

Located 31 km from downtown Ubatuba, Praia do Pulso beach is totally covered by a luxury condo where one can see real architectural masterpieces.

To get to the shore, cars should be parked at the condo’s parking lot. The access is through the Km 80 marker on the highway SP-55 near Maranduba. This access also takes you to the Caçandoca and Caçandoquinha beaches.

From there begins the famous trail to Saco das Bananas, where original "caiçara" native families are still living.

Picinguaba Beach
Access by secondary road that breaks of the highway. It is part of the Nucleus Picinguaba, State Park of the Mountain Range of the Sea, healthy 47.000 ha protected approximately 80% of the town. Patrimony of the humanity recognized by the UNESCO is the only point of the coastal native of são paulo where are protected the ecosystems costeiros, such as beaches, marsh, costões rocky and kills of restinga. Old town of fishermen tumbled by the Historical Patrimony, stopping that the localities suffer alterations. The fishermen of the localities still conserve houses, canoes and devices of fishing with its original characteristics. Waters calms, point of exit and arrived of boats, surrounded by the Long islands, Carapuça and Couves. In the Picinguaba we find bars and restaurants.
